Fire Pit Tables

A fire pit table does two jobs at once: a real, controllable flame at the centre and a usable table surface around it for drinks and plates. Set at coffee or dining height, these gas fire pit tables turn a patio set into somewhere you linger long after dark. Our range runs from compact 12 kW Outsunny tables and Happy Cocooning's Estate and Riviera favourites to handcrafted Elementi and Elementi Plus fire tables at 16 kW. Looking for a fire to sit around rather than a table? Browse our gas fire pits.

A fire pit table replaces two pieces of garden kit at once: the patio heater and the coffee or dining table. Because the burner sits in the middle of a wide surround, everyone seated gets the warmth without giving up space for drinks, plates or a board game, and the gas flame lights in seconds with none of the smoke or ash of a wood fire.

Every table in this collection runs on a standard patio gas (LPG) bottle. On many models the bottle is tucked out of sight, and an optional matching gas tank cover doubles as a side table while keeping the cylinder hidden. Selected Elementi tables can also be converted from LPG to natural gas with an optional conversion kit if you have a mains gas supply.

Choose from glass-fibre reinforced concrete designs by Elementi and Elementi Plus, Happy Cocooning's composite and teak tables, or value-led rattan and steel models from Outsunny. Pair your table with a tempered glass wind guard and a protective cover from our Fire Pit Accessories collection to keep the flame steady and the table looking its best.

FAQs

A fire pit table surrounds the burner with a wide, usable ledge at coffee or dining height, so it works like a normal table with a flame in the middle. A standard fire pit is a bowl or basket you sit around purely for the fire. If you do not need the table surface, our Gas Fire Pits collection is the better place to start.

All of our fire pit tables run on bottled patio gas (LPG), which lights instantly and adjusts with a simple control. An optional matching gas tank cover keeps the cylinder hidden and doubles as a side table, and selected Elementi models can be converted from LPG to natural gas with an optional conversion kit.

Fire pit tables are designed for warmth and ambience, not cooking, so we do not recommend grilling food over the burner. If cooking over real flames is the goal, take a look at our fire pits with grills and planchas instead.
